Northeast Greenland

Here are some photos from my July 2003 trip to the
Scoresbysund area in the northeast of Greenland.
It was organized by the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC)
with the help of Tangent Expeditions. Our guides
Phil Poole and David Hamilton did an outstanding job of
leading us through the 12 days of hiking around Kalkdal
in Liverpool Land.

Before leaving Greenland again, we spent a few days in
the town of Ittoqqortoormiit, where Karina and Martin
provided us a great guided tour through town and
a wonderful musk ox dinner: Mange tak!
