Tanzania

These photos are from a trip with the Appalachian Mountain Club to Tanzania for a hike up Mount Kilimanjaro and a Safari in the Serengeti. Our local guides for the entire time were Ben and Noel from African Environments. I didn't quite make it to the top of Kilimanjaro due to altitude sickness, so you won't find the obligatory summit photo here. We went up from the west on the Shira Plateau route and descended on the Mweka route.
